by Rob Schermerhorn on January 20, 2012

What to do while your special ride is snug in a blanket in your garage? How about attending a winter indoor car show, performance equipment and technology exposition or special performance driving techniques seminar? Sounds good to you? In chronological order:

Saturday, February 18th I’ll be in Peoria, IL at Autohaus of Peoria which will host a program with an early “Cars & Coffee” start time of 9:00 AM. I will present Performance Driving & Safe Driving Skills, hosted by driving coach extraordinaire Boris Peharda, there will also be important info on car preparation for track events, competitive motorsport events, vintage racing and safety equipment while surrounded by the best that Autohaus’ Audi, Mercedes, Porsche and Volkswagen stores have on display! Here’s the link to Autohaus and Google Maps.

We’ll have a booth and be presenting seminars at the Race & Performance Expo/ Circle Track Expo Saturday – Sunday, February 25 – 26, in St. Charles, IL at the DuPage Expo, 4050 E Main St. On Saturday we’ll also present Performance Driving & Safe Driver Skills/ Advanced Driving Techniques, Sunday is Performance Driving & Safe Driver Skills/ Suspension Power: Tools to Go Faster.Circle Track Expo Feb 25-26, 2012

The next weekend, on Saturday, March 3rd, we’ll be with Northstar Motorsports, John Ruther’s place in Barrington, IL, presenting Performance Driving & Safe Driver Skills sometime after 1pm. Then John will present information on his extensive line of motorsport safety and performance equipment. I’ve known John for the better part of two decades, he’s a wealth of knowledge, will likely have his Porsche race car on display and his facility is something to see. Our Hooked On Driving helmet requirements are changing to no older than Snell SA2005 specification so now’s the time to try on a new lid and meet some like-minded car enthusiasts, get your questions answered and have a great day!
